Took out a policy for a few days while waiting for car that has been sold to be collected. Didn't need to use policy but the cover was ideal for our needs and the price very good compared to other providers.

Excellent product but let down in 2 areas
1 The online system has flaws when you are an end user specifically when extending your cover,
2. Staff are like Parrots regurgitating word for word scripts when you want to resolve an issue, about as helpful as an abscess
Aviva are generally a superb company, when they were Norwich Union, there products a superb, there staff Robotic

After trying a couple of other services I stumbled upon dayinsure and when I tell you that this made my life so much easier I wouldn't be joking at all. Everything from the sign up to get in insurance was easy and this so much flexibility for the amount of time you want to buy insurance for. And to add everything together you offer insurance for provisional licence!

I needed to insure a van to get home quickly following a last minute purchase and I was really pleased by how easy the process was. I did encounter a small issue logging into the site (due to signal) which initially meant I ended up paying twice due to not being sure if I had paid or not. When I got home I checked and had two concurrent policies running. Not a problem as I got hold of customer services and Lisa was a star who kindly checked my details and refunded the duplicate policy for the same time. Even if things don't always go quite right, the customer services are prompt and efficient. Van home safely and one very happy customer. I will use Dayinsure again. Thanks Lisa!

Purchased a van 120 miles from home and needed to drive it back just as my current van insurance was about to expire. Rather than rush into renewing I decided to buy a days cover to get the vehicle back to my driveway. Very straightforward to get cover from RAC and in my opinion very reasonably priced. Worked well for me and I would happily recommend to others requiring short term cover.

I have used dayinsure a few times when I have picked up a car and not had time to change my original insurance as I needed it to drive the car I was trading in and cover the new car as well it was very convenient and easy to use.

No happy really Because you give me 30% off still expensive also when I try to take this 30% off the price is too high it’s £80 with 30% off per day. No thank you another Company gave me £45 per day which is much better than you guys, of course no one want to make the price down of course The most of the company want more money so I’m not really really really happy 30% discount sometimes show me £80 per day sometimes show me £65 per day so guys how do you want me to be happy in how you can imagine? £80 Insurance cover per day guys you rob the people and the same time try to look good sorry, but you’re not good

When you buy cover to start at a particular time, you tend to expect the breakdown cover to start at the same time.
In an unfortunate turn of events, we called the RAC within 2 hours and were promptly advised that breakdown cover didn’t start for 4 hours after the start of the insurance policy.
We were further advised not to call back after the four hours.
Not impressed to say the least.

Hi Steve,
Our breakdown cover gives Roadside assistance only for the first 4 hours of the policy as long as you're a quarter mile away from home then full cover, if purchased, starts after 4 hours.
