We are proud to be, yet again, innovators in short term insurance. dayresQ is a new product to benefit our temporary car insurance customers by offering daily roadside assistance for a small additional daily charge. The roadside recovery is administered on our behalf by Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited.
When you buy a short term motor insurance policy you can also purchase dayresQ as an option and get peace of mind knowing that you have breakdown cover if the vehicle breaks down. The breakdown cover is especially useful for holidays and trips into Europe.
If you do not need temporary vehicle breakdown assistance you can de-select the dayresQ option and the price will automatically be adjusted to the cost of the temporary motor insurance for driving the vehicle without the dayresQ benefits.
If you select the option to buy short term roadside assistance you will be insured against your vehicle breaking down.
You can also buy short term breakdown cover for European trips which is a great new service to give you security in the event of a vehicle breakdown in the EEC.
If your vehicle cannot be fixed at the roadside the temporary breakdown insurance covers:
- emergency roadside assistance
- recovery to the nearest repairer
- repatriation of your motor car
- getting you home, or journey continuation costs
- hotel accommodation or a temporary replacement car
The dayresQ policy does not insure:

The use of your motor car for
- the conveyance of goods or materials
- hire or reward
- motor racing, rallies, speed or duration tests or any practice thereof

And Beneficiaries
- causing intentional damage or injury
- participating in a criminal act or offence
- wilfully exposing themselves to danger (except to save human life)
- being under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs (other than drugs taken under medical supervision and not for the treatment of drug addiction)
