Dayinsure.com, the original, internet-based, short-term motor insurance providers have taken the daily car and van insurance experience even further forward by introducing the first motorcycle insurance policy that can be purchased by the day. We decided to call our new insurance product ‘Flexirider’, because that is exactly what it is – a flexible insurance product for bikers, enabling them to get insurance as and when they need it, without having to amend any existing annual insurance policies, and then having to wait for a new certificate / cover note to arrive in the post. The Flexirider policy is comprehensive, and the certificate of insurance and policy schedule can be printed out immediately at the end of the application process.

Customers can purchase short-term, comprehensive motorbike insurance for periods of between 1 and 28 days, subject to a maximum of 28 days per annum. The policy is comprehensive and underwritten by Chaucer Insurance PLC.

The concept is very simple. Many bikers will need additional, temporary insurance at some stage, either to use a motorbike that does not belong to them, to ride home a new purchase or to insure another person to ride their own motorbike. It can be a very onerous process to amend an existing annual insurance policy by adding an additional bike or rider. Flexirider by-passes this complicated procedure, providing a simple answer to a biker’s temporary motorbike insurance needs.

If you need short-term insurance for a motorbike then Flexirider provides a simple, easy to use internet booking site that requires minimal information about the bike or rider. The site clearly directs the user through the application process and the information required to set up the policy. Once payment has been made via a secure credit / debit card transaction, the biker can immediately print off the insurance certificate. A copy is also sent to the policyholder as an attachment to a confirmatory email. Bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance of the start date.

We recognise that there are certain emergency situations where you require immediate insurance to ride another motorbike for which you are not insured. In these situations you have no time to lose. Our website enables you, in a matter of minutes, to insure another bike on a daily basis.
